周末购书两本

在昂立书店购得《Modern Information Retrieval》（影印版）和李开复的新书《做最好的自己》。

《Modern Information Retrieval》是一本有关信息检索的经典著作，为了准备论文曾去上海图书馆花两百多块整本复印了全书。3年后机工终于出了英文影印版，外加一本翻译版，由南开大学一位搞情报学的博导翻译。出于收藏的目的，还是买了影印版放在书架上充门面。

李开复的新书还没看，先瞄了眼宋健写的序。纽约时报还提到了出版此书的人民出版社，“which was published by the People’s Publishing House. That group was set up by Mao Zedong in 1950 and is better known for selling the writings of the former Communist leaders Jiang Zemin and Deng Xiaoping.”讲政治，老外也不差。
